New Adidas showroom in Jawalakhel and Pokhara

Here is good news for people, who go after internationally acclaimed brands. Roots Fashion — the dealer of Adidas brand of sports wear in Nepal — has opened a new showroom of Adidas in Jawalakhel on Friday. The showroom offers a wide range of products like jackets, T-shirts, hats, shoes and track-suits for both men and women.

“The prices of garments range from Rs. 700 to Rs. 6,000,” said Sanjeev Tuladhar, managing director of Roots Fashion. “Our main target customers are middle class people,” said he, adding that the outlet has items used in most of the sports played in Nepal, including football, swimming, running, basketball and tennis.

The new showroom is the fourth single branded outlet of Adidas in the Kathmandu valley. Other showrooms for the brands are located in Putalisadak, Durbarmarga and Bluebird Departmental Store in Tripureshwor.

POKHARA, July 21  2009 : World renowned sports apparel, footwear and accessories manufacturer, Adidas, has opened a new showroom in Pokhara. The store was opened in the western Nepali city by Trust Mart Private Limited.

“We will put on sale all casual apparels, shoes and sports fashion wear launched by the company here,” said Sunil Bahadur Bhattarai, promoter of the outlet, which was built at a cost of over three million rupees. He also said his target group was migrant workers who have returned from abroad and elite crowd of Pokhara.

The price of slippers in this store ranges from Rs 2,200-Rs 2,500, while a T-shirt costs between Rs 1,200-Rs 4,500. Similarly, sports shoes here cost Rs 3,500-Rs 9,900.
