Nepali children dying of preventable sickness like diarrhea and 143 ft tall multi-karod religious idols, something wrong with this picture?

Tourism will increase when Nepal’s illiteracy rate decreases, it’s political issues are resolved, and it’s infrastructure can be maintained. Erecting more temples and idols isn’t going to help long term.

Obviously, there is plenty of money in Nepal, unfortunately it’s getting put to the wrong use.

Nice statue though.
