Rosebys opens outlet in Kathmandu

Rosebys, a lifestyle retail chain from the UK, opened a branch in Kathmandu on Monday. Rosebys’ showroom on the ground floor of Kathmandu Plaza, Kamaladi stocks a whole range of home fashion and lifestyle accessories.

The outlet offers bed sheets, curtains, towels, cushions, vases, frames, lamps, candles and other accessories.

According to the showroom owner Nabin Agrawal, all the items have been imported from India. Rosebys has a factory in Gujarat, India. “All the items at the showroom are reasonably priced,” said Agrawal. “The price of bed sheets starts from Rs. 800, the same as in India.”

The showroom is offering special discounts on the occasion of Dashain.

Rosebys was acquired by India’s Gujarat Heavy Chemicals, a subsidiary of the Dalmia Group in 2006. It started operations in India in 2009, and owns various home decor retail chains including 50 exclusive stores with 20 shop-in-shops in Style-Spa, Debenhams and Home Stop.
