Ford cars’ dealership comes to Nepal

Ford India has extended its footprint in Nepal with the opening of dealership in Kathmandu and launching Ford Figo in the Nepali market today. Golchha Organization’s GO Automobile Pvt Ltd has got the dealership of the Ford Motor for Nepal. “We are proud to open the dealership in Nepal,” said Michael Boneham, president and managing director of Ford India.

As a country dealer, Go is selling four models — Figo, Fiesta, Ranger and Everest — in the Nepali market. While Ford Everest SUV and Ranger pick-up are imported from Thailand, Figo and Fiesta are manufactured in India.

The dealership will provide a range of after-sales services and support Nepali customers, said Akash Golchha of GO Automobiles. The service facility of Ford in Kathmandu can service up to 24 cars per day and also provide 24-hours emergency service in the Kathmandu Valley. GO Automobile has set up 18,000 square-foot service centre and 60 Ford-trained technicians.
