United Traders Syndicate, the authorised distributor of Toyota for Nepal, has introduced the all new 11th Generation Toyota Corolla.
The new Corolla is equipped with 1.6 litre Dual VV T-i Petrol Engine and a six-speed manual gearbox, which produces 122 hp power and a maximum torque of 154 Nm at 5,200 rpm. The Dual VVT-i engine delivers greater power with low fuel consumption and lower emissions.
The new Corolla comes with all-new exterior and interior design for a more sophisticated and a prestigious image. Equipped with double barrel headlamps and the new curve Chrome Grille, with low bonnet lines gives the new car greater road presence and a unique visual signature, the company said in a statement.
All driving-related instrumentation and switchgear has been positioned to maximise ease of use and minimise driver distraction from the road. The car also comes with steering-mounted audio controls. The new Corolla is not only more spacious and comfortable than its predecessor, its interior has also been crafted with sound absorption material to offer quiet ride environment, the company said.
The new Corolla is equipped with enhanced Electric Power Steering to give a sharper and smooth steering response. The vehicle is equipped with an improved Hill Start Assist Control, Anti-lock Braking System incorporating Electronic Brake force Distribution and Brake Assist. The vehicle is also equipped with Traction Control and Vehicle Stability Control to control the vehicle from slipping or skidding in corners or slippery road conditions.
