Volkswagen opens showroom in Thapathali

Pooja International, the authorized distributor of Volkswagen for Nepal, has opened a new showroom at Thapathali.

Inaugurating the newly opened showroom on Friday, Henning Hansen, deputy head of mission of Embassy of Germany in Nepal, said Volkswagen cars would get good market share in Nepali market like in Germany. Bibek Bijukchhe, CEO of Pooja International, said the main reason behind expanding showrooms across the country is to facilitate the customers and increase market share.

“Currently we enjoy six percent market share in Nepal and we are moving ahead strategically to increase our market share to more than 50 percent,” Bijukchhe added.

Pooja International currently has five Volkswagen showrooms and four service centers across the country.

Currently, the company has been selling high segment vehicles like Touareg (sports utility vehicle), Passat CC (limousine), New Passat (luxury sedan), Tiguan (crossover), Jetta (sedan), Vento (mid size sedan) and Polo (hatchback).
