Mahindra and Mahindra have launched its new pickup — Jeeto in the Nepali market. Issuing a statement, company officials said that the new pickup suits Nepali roads. Price of the new pickup starts from Rs 825,000 to Rs.9,50,000 according to the company.

Mahindra Jeeto is essentially the new entry-level LCV in Mahindra’s commercial vehicle lineup, that is slotted beneath Mahindra Maxximo mini truck, to rival the popular Tata Ace Zip which is their entry level LCV. Tata Ace Zip has been the only mini LCV at its price range up until now.

The sub-1 tonne Mahindra Jeeto LCV is offered in a plethora of variants, 8 in total, in which there are three configurations with varying loading deck lengths. Mahindra Jeeto S has 1,630 mm (5.5 feet) long cargo bay, Jeeto L has the same measuring 1,780 mm (6.0 feet) in length and Jeeto X top end model has extra long loading deck, that stretches the tape to 1,930 mm (6.5 feet).

As for features of Mahindra Jeeto LCV, it is embellished with oval headlamps joint together by grille-like trim at the centre of front fascia, and a pretty sizeable meshed air-dam at the front bumper. Turn indicators appear to be independent assemblies between the headlamps, and there is what appears to be a white coloured reflector tape across the LCV’s frontage. Interior of Jeeto is seen with sporty, flat-bottomed steering wheel; 12V power socket (convenient for charging mobile phones), lockable glove box/compartment and provision for radio/music system. Totally 5 body colours are on offer, including Premium Biege, Diamond White, Sunrise Red, Ultramarine Blue and Mango Yellow.
