Samsung India launches SUHD TV in Nepali market

Samsung India Electronics Ltd has declared the beginning of the Quantum dot display era with the launch of the new SUHD TV line-up equipped with second generation Quantum dot technology for the first time in Nepal.

Samsung first launched the SUHD TV with Quantum dot technology in 2015 and it is applying the enhanced, second generation Quantum dot technology to its new SUHD TVs this year, as per a media release issued on Monday.

Quantum dot display technology, known for its durability and extraordinary, lasting picture quality, has been most recently developed and commercialised in the TV manufacturing industry.

Samsung SUHD TVs have adopted this technology, and have received favourable reviews worldwide for its outstanding picture quality compared to previous TVs since its launch.

Models available for pre-booking from July 12 to August 12 are UA55KS9000 and UA65KS9000.

The pre-booking price of UA55KS9000 is Rs 419,000 nett, where a customer will get a free Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Gear VR.

Similarly, pre-booking price of UA65KS9000 is Rs 629,000 nett and the customer will get a free Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and Samsung Gear VR.
