Daihatsu Sirion is the cheapest Japanese car available in the country. Hansraj Hulaschand and Company (HH Company), the authorized distributor of Daihatsu motors for Nepal, has been selling Daihatsu cars in Nepal for years.
Sofiya Bhatta of sales department at HH Company said the Sirions sold in Nepal are directly imported from Japan. She also informed that HH Company has already sold more than 300 Sirions in Nepal.
Sirions are available in 12 different colors: White, Yellow Metallic, Red, Silver Metallic, Yellow Green Metallic, Maroon Mica, Champagne Metallic Opal, Blue Metallic, Pearl White Mica and Black Mica Metallic. Sirions come in two models — Sirion 1000 and Sirion 1300.
Sirion 1000 has three cylinder engine whereas Sirion 1300 has four cylinder engine. Sirion 1300 is available in standard and deluxe options. Deluxe option has installed CD player and rear head-rest.
It has features like inbuilt air conditioning, power steering, power windows, central door lock, electric door mirror, rear wiper, rear defogger, dual airbag, tilt steering and seat adjustment. Additional features like alloy wheels and anti lock braking system are optional.
“Sirion has more leg space than other cars in its class,” says Bhatta.
Apart from Sirion, HH Company also sells Daihatsu Terios in Nepal.
Other model sold by HH of Daihatsu is Terios.
