Lords Hotels and Resorts starts operation in Nepal

Indian hotel chain Lord Hotels and Resorts has started operation in Nepal.

Lord Hotels and Resorts has invested Rs 200 million in Battisputali-based Mirage Lords Inn.

“Mirage Lords Inn aims to cater quality service to Nepali people and contribute for development of tourism industry of the country,” Lords Hotels and Resorts said in a statement.
Lords has joined hands with ShreeJee Hotels for its Nepal operations.

“As Nepal´s political situation is turning toward stability, we have invested in the hotel with greater hope and prospects,” Mahesh Goyal, director of ShreeJee Hotels, told Republica, adding “Though it´s an Indian chain, out target will be tourists of all kinds — domestic and international.” Goyal further added that they have entered the Nepali market with dedicated professionals and cumulative experience.

Mirage Lords Inn has 40 rooms with air conditioning, multi-channel television, tea/coffee maker, safe deposit lockers, business centre, travel desk, and 24 hours room service.
“We will soon extend the number of rooms to 50,” said Goyal.

Meanwhile, the hotel plans to operate a completely vegetarian restaurant in the near future. “We will soon come up with number of other peculiar plans in the hospitality business of Nepal,” added Goyal.
