Jagadamba Motors, the authorized dealer of TVS Apache Two-Wheelers has started accepting pre-bookings of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V ABS at all TVS dealerships in the Nepali market.

The 2020 range of Apache RTR series offers an array of premium features enabled by cutting edge technology and will transform performance biking.

Smart Xonnect Technology

The SmartXonnect feature on the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V enables you to connect your smartphone to the motorcycle’s digital console via Bluetooth. By pairing the smartphone, you can get call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, crash alert and other vehicle diagnostics messages. Post the ride, you can also check the analytics of your past ride, lean angles, and G-forces experienced.

Engine:
In the ABS era, the 197.75cc single-cylinder air-cooled (with an oil-cooler) motor on the Apache 200 makes 20.5PS and 16.8Nm. Although power remains the same, torque has gone down by 1.3Nm. The Apache RTR 200 finally gets fuel-injection as standard. The five-speed gearbox sees no revision.
Thanks to the inclusion of fuel-injection and an ECU, TVS has introduced a feature called ‘Glide Through Traffic’ on the Apache 200. What it basically does is when you are setting off, the ECU bumps up the revs slightly to avoid the engine bogging down. This is similar to the feature you get on Suzuki’s big-capacity motorcycles.

Suspension & Brakes:
There are no changes to report on the mechanicals front of the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V. The racy taut chassis of the Apache RTR 200 is suspended by a telescopic fork and a KYB-tuned monoshock. Brakes on offer are a 270mm front and a 240mm rear petal disc with dual-channel ABS as standard.

Performance

The Race Derived O3C Engine with ram-air assist reduces the engine heat map by a remarkable 10⁰C delivering high revving performance with uncompromised durability. Light weight NanofriKS Coated piston delivers a high-revving engine with linear race throttle response.

With the new Glide Through Technology(GTT) feature one can start moving the vehicle with a slow release of the clutch lever, without the throttle operation. This is a convenient feature while riding in heavy traffic. The requirement of the synchronization of the clutch lever and throttle lever is eliminated & engine stalling can be eliminated.

The Dual-Channel ABS with RLP (Rear wheel Lift-off Protection) control offers quick detection and recovery of the wheel lock achieving higher stability through precise close-loop slip control. It is well-tuned for both high friction and low friction surfaces to achieve superior braking performance with precise and sharp feedback.

The Race Tuned Slipper Clutch’ technology, accentuates the motorcycle’s performance, with 22% reduction in clutch force for quicker upshifts, enabling the rider to achieve better lap times. The technology also aims at ensuring rider safety in highspeed downshifts, avoids wheel-hopping while cornering, and improves vehicle stability with the back-balance torque limiter effect.

The all-new Apache RTR 200 4V now comes equipped with Eurogrip Protorq SR racing spec radial tyres, with increased traction control, stability, and durability that’ll give you the confidence to conquer those corners with ease.

TVSM patented Double Cradle Split Synchro Stiff Chassis engineered using Multi-Body Dynamics Analysis gives optimized vehicle layout, thereby increasing the stability by 25% and setting the benchmark in its class for excellent riding dynamics.

The Monoshock with monotube floating piston shock absorber is precision-tuned for compression and rebound damping in cooperation with KYB to achieve excellent dynamic response and perfect track balance.

The double-barrel exhaust empties gases from the combustion chamber faster, increasing the engine’s horsepower while retaining the same exhaust note that’s always been music to our ears.

Style

The all-new unique LED headlamp with claw position lamps on the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V are aggressively styled to leave an imposing impression on the track & road. They enable enhanced visibility, long range light penetration and luminosity that’ll always keep the finish line well within both sight and reach.

The all-new race-inspired graphics with decals and a refreshed racing aesthetic is designed to pay homage to the racing pedigree of RTR DNA based on an aero form theme lending the motorcycle a dynamic and ready-to-attack stance.

TVS Apache RTR 200 4V welcomes you with the alpha-numeric message on race-inspired Speedo-cum-Tacho that sets you in a mood to race with race diagnostic features like Lap timer, 0-60 timer, Top speed recorder, etc.

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V now comes with aggressively styled aerodynamic claw mirrors. Perfect for looking back at the competition as you pass them by.

The bike now comes with a special Wave Bite Key that is specially programmed to prevent theft. The motorcycle and the key are programmed such that a duplicate key cannot be used to start the ignition, ensuring that your race machine responds only to you.

Desgin and Safety

Apache RTR 200 4V ABS comes with specially designed Roto-petal disc brakes (Front and Rear) for aggressive stopping power and faster dissipation of heat. The Dual-Channel ABS with RLP (Rear wheel Lift-off Protection) control offers quick detection and recovery of the wheel lock achieving higher stability through precise close-loop slip control.

The all-new aggressively styled tank cowl sports new graphics that gives racers an unmatched presence.

The new engine cowl sports refreshed graphics that are a statement of pure, unstoppable racing power. Aerodynamic razor-sharp design with perpetual motion styling protects the engine in case of bad roads/ bumps.

The optimized seating profile for uniform pressure distribution gives a magnet-like grip to the rider at the same time allowing the rider to slide around easily while hitting the apex and turn of directions.
