With Nepal’s biggest automobile exhibition, the NADA Auto Show 2018, right round the corner, automobile dealers are revving up to showcase and launch new models.

While most companies are preparing to launch new models or refreshing existing models, Continental Trading Enterprises, the authorised distributor of Kia Motors in Nepal, is planning to showcase only existing vehicles in their product porfolio.

According to Prasiddha Khadka, senior marketing officer of Kia Motors, the market for electric vehicles has been growing in recent years, with the company selling 77 units of Kia Soul electric vehicle in just two years, he said.

The company has already installed charging stations for its electric vehicles (EV) at Riverside Resort at Mugling and has been installing electric charging stations at different places. Similarly, the company has been providing after-sales services especially for its EVs, he said.
