Huawei Mate 20 with 4 cameras launched – Price,Specs & Features
Huawei Mate 20 officially announced today along with Mate 20 Pro. The new smartphone of the Chinese manufacturer entered the increasingly competitive market and with arguments to win.
The Huawei Mate 20 is not as “special” as the Pro model. The new model does not have a curved screen, it does not offer biometric sensor on the screen, nor does it give IP68 certified water and dust resistance as well as charging wirelessly and the amount of RAM that Mate 20 Pro model offers.
The new smartphone comes almost with cameras lower than the Pro model. Even so, Leica cameras should not be underestimated as Huawei has already proved that it can create the best cameras on a smartphone.
However, the new Mate 20 gives us something that Mate 20 Pro does not offer. The features that Mate 20 stand out from the Pro model are — Water-Drop Notch and the 3.5″ input for the headphones.
The notch on the Mate 20 is much smaller than the one on the “Pro” model. The water-drop notch is much smaller hence does not offer 3D facial unlocking with infrared.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Huawei Mate 20 flaunts a 6.53-inch display, while the Mate 20 Pro flaunts a 6.39-inch display. The Mate 20 comes with a rear mounted fingerprint scanner, whereas the Mate 20 Pro comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The phone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 980 7nm SoC with dual AI processor. The company claims that the world’s first 7 nanometer mobile chipset is most sophisticated technology that enhances better performance, power efficiency and speed improvement. The DUAL-NPU offers vast AI computing and the other focuses on specific tasks to create massive efficiencies and a drastically improved user experience.
