Samsung Notebook 9 Pen with 13-inch and 15-inch screens offers 15 hours of battery life

Samsung introduced the new generation of Notebook 9 Pen, which comes with renewed design, new features and features and a number of improvements over the Notebook 9 Pen (2018) announced last December and presented at CES 2018.

The new Samsung Notebook 9 Pen (2019) comes with 13-inch and 15-inch screens, and has more ports and a larger capacity (54Wh) than the previous model, giving it up to 15 hours of battery life and supporting fast charging. Inside, as in the older model, there is Intel’s 8th generation Core i7 processor, which in the larger screen can be combined with Nvidia GeForce MX150 2GB discrete graphics.

Both the 13-inch and 15-inch versions of the Samsung’s convertible notebook are equipped with LPDDR3 DRAM, GIGA WiFi, fingerprint and face recognition, with two Thunderbolt 3 slots with USB-C, with a headphone / microphone combo slot and with UFS / MicroSD card reader. It is also equipped with a “ThunderAmp” amplifier, combined with AKG’s speakers to deliver studio-quality sound.

Thanks to the new “metallic” design and extensive use of aluminum, the new Samsung Notebook 9 Pen looks more expensive than last year’s model while remaining light (albeit not lighter than the previous generation) at 1.12kg for the 13- inch model and at 1.56kg for the 15-inch. The screen remains similar to the past, although the margins, at least left and right, are slightly more discreet. The RealView Touch screen supports a 1080p resolution, brightness up to 450nits and covers 95% of the sRGB standard with deltaE <2.5.

The disply screen rotates thanks to a flexible 360° mechanism so the device can easily be converted to tablets by supporting various “modes”(eg tent).
