Few months ago, Vivo launched the Vivo Y93 smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage, 6.2-inch display, and a dual rear camera setup.

And now the company has launched the successor called Vivo Y95, and the smartphone will see slight upgrades, particularly in the camera department. Importantly, the Vivo Y95 is seen sporting a rear fingerprint scanner, something that was missing on the Vivo Y93 smartphone.

Vivo Y95 smartphone comes with a 6.22” Halo FullView screen, a 20 megapixel front camera and a 4030mAh battery alongside with 4GB of RAM coupled with 64 GB ROM and the new Snapdragon 439 processor.

The device comes with the AI camera features that were first seen in the V11 series, an updated AI Game Mode, Jovi AI, and Google Lens. It determines the age, gender, tone and texture of the skin, lighting, and automatically launches an algorithm that improves the facial features.

Under the hood, the phone features the AI-assisted camera features that we first witnessed on the Vivo V11 Pro. It sports a 13MP+2MP dual camera setup on the rear coupled with a 20MP selfie snapper on the front. The camera on the Vivo Y95 also has Google Lens integration, which means that users can get information about landmarks and objects using their camera app.

Vivo Y95 is expected to be the manufacturer’s first Y-series offering with a Halo FullView display.

While Vivo has not confirmed a specific launch date, the Y95 is likely set to launch in Nepali market within a week. The Y95 is rumored to be priced at around NRs.30,000 at launch.
