Samsung announced at MWC 2019 Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 , two new mid-range smartphones belonging to the renewed Galaxy A range. The devices have the same dimensions and a similar appearance, differentiating between them are their hardware features and the multimedia capabilities.
Galaxy A50, in particular, is the first mid-range Galaxy to integrate a fingerprint sensor below the display . Different technology, however, on Galaxy A30 on which Samsung has decided to insert a more “traditional” sensor in the rear panel.
Galaxy A50 is equipped with a 6.4 “AMOLED Infinity-U display with FHD + resolution, Octa Core SoC , 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 /128GB of internal memory.
The camera setup consists of a triple rear camera with 25 + 5 + 8MP sensors (main + depth + ultra-wide) and a single 25MP front selfie camera. The battery, as well as on Galaxy A30, is 4000 mAh.

The Galaxy A30 on the other hand comes with sligtly cut down specifications on the hardware front . It comes with a Hexa-Core SoC, a dual rear camera with a 16MP main sensor and Ultra-Wide 5MP and 3 / 4GB of RAM supported by 32 or 64GB of internal memory expandable via Micro SD slot . On the other hand, the 6.4 “Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with FHD + resolution is the same.
The display of 6.4 “Infinity-U Super AMOLED display with FHD + resolution is the same as found in the A50.
