Honda is preparing to launch the new fresh Honda BR-V replacing the existing models BR-V and CR-V in Nepali market soon. The Honda HR-V is also awaiting it’s launch in Indian market, seems like this time it will be entering both the Indian and Nepali market at the same time.

Known as the Honda Vezel in the Japanese domestic market, the Honda HRV is built on the Jazz platform that also underpins the Honda City and Honda WRV.

The Honda HR-V has aggressive looks with robust front profile and new elements. The facelifted model sports Honda’s latest design language, which we have already seen on the City facelift.

The SUV gets a bigger grille, new LED headlamps, tweaked fog lamp housing and newly contoured front bumper. It now features Honda’s safety and driver assistance systems, called as Honda Sensing. It is now equipped with Honda’s newest infotainment system that is compatible with satellite navigation, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Buyers these days have grown affinity for the rugged SUVs, hence thanks to large proportions, spacious cabin and off-road capability, the HR-V SUV turns out to be a viable alternative to other body-styles including hatchbacks. With BRV failed to generate volumes, Honda is surely thinking of this global product to mark some presence in this segment.

The HR-V is clearly behind the BR-V in various parameters. The BR-V is longer, sits higher and has a better wheelbase in comparison. However, the HR-V is longer than its competition and even boasts of a longer wheelbase as well. The Hyundai Creta and the Renault Duster, however, are wider and sit higher than the upcoming HR-V.
