Honor 8A with MediaTek Helio P35 launching soon in Nepal
In 2018 Huawei’s subsidiary brand Honor played an important role in uplifting the chinese smartphone maker’s market share to the next level. Huawei sold over 200 million smartphones in the world market and the company is now poised to make another history in 2019.
Honor 8A is scheduled to launch in Nepali market by the end of April or first week of May , however the device specification and price is already known as its readily available in international markets.
According to the information provided on the site, the Huawei Honor 8A will be released with a price virtually impossible to resist. Its base variant (3GB RAM + 32GB ROM) will cost about NRs. 12,950. While the variant with 64GB of ROM will be around NRs. 15,250. Unfortunately, these prices won’t be applicable to Nepali market as these prices are for international markets.
You can see the complete list of specifications at the end of the article.
Regarding its design, although it presents clearly like a ‘budget’ smartphone, the Honor 8A reveals several quite interesting details. Its front panel features very thin bezels and a somewhat thicker bottom chin with enough room to imprint the Honor logo.
The Huawei subsidiary Honor has been a major competitor to Xiaomi, which continues to consistently launch new hard-to-beat price-quality smartphones. However, this Honor 8A may come to balance the scales.
Although it does not offer specifications that can be impress, this may be one of the strongest competitors of Xiaomi’s offer for this segment. Especially if the manufacturer can maintain a similar price for international markets.
But, it is very unlikely that this will happen. Usually, once launched outside the Chinese market, smartphones always end up suffering increase in their price. Nevertheless, if the Honor 8A arrives in Nepali market with a price of around NRs. 14,000 – 17,000, it will continue to present itself as an excellent ‘budget’smartphone.
Honor 8A is presented in a few color options, including the charm red, the night black, the aurora blue, and the platinum gold.
