Nokia readying to launch new device with Snapdragon 429
HMD Global is preparing to launch a new smartphone, the device with model number TA-1182 has been certified by FCC. The name of the new device is unknown at the moment but will be soon revealed as HMD is likely set to launch this device soon.
The smartphone lit up in the FCC database, so little is known about it so far. For example, there are dimensions – 161.2 x 76.2 mm, that is, we can assume that the diagonal of the display will be approximately 6.4 inches.
According to the FCC filings, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 chipset under the hood.
What is more interesting is the battery, the capacity of which will be 4000 mAh. Nokia is not particularly keen to use large batteries, so the future device should please fans of the brand.
The device has got Bluetooth 5.0 LE certification but exact information about Wi-Fi certification is still under wraps.
Third-party sources suggest that the new device may come out under the name of Nokia 5.2, but for now this is only an assumption.
