Samsung Galaxy M40 with Snapdragon 675 launched in Nepal
This year the South Korean manufacturer decided to introduce a new family of smartphones designed to compete with Xiaomi, Honor and even Realme – all sub-brands of chinese smartphone makers. The new Samsung Galaxy M were introduced earlier this year in India, immediately gaining great success thanks to the excellent price to quality ratio.
Samsung started the year with the introduction of the new Galaxy M family. This is aimed at developing markets as they are entry-level models.
After presenting the Galaxy M10, M20 and M30, the manufacturer should already be making the last preparations to present what should be the most attractive of the four new models, the Samsung Galaxy M40. Featuring the most powerful smartphone in the new mid-range smartphone family, this smartphone has some new features not seen in other M-Series smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy M40
Samsung introduced the Galaxy M40 in India, which stands out with a number of features unique to the budget class.
Thus, the device received a 6.3 inch IPS-display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels with a hole for the front camera(Infinity-O Display) in the style of the flagship Galaxy S10 (91.8% of the front panel useful area is stated).
In addition to its main task, the display also now doubles and acts as a speaker.
Galaxy M40 also got a triple camera with a 32-megapixel main, 8-megapixel wide-angle and 5-megapixel depth sensor. In addition, Samsung went on a rare step for this price segment – it abandoned the 3.5 mm audio jack, compensating for this with complete USB Type-C headphones. The advantages of the Galaxy M40 is that it comes with a 3500 mAh battery with Type-C fast charger(15-watt unit included).
Other specifications of the Samsung Galaxy M40 include a Snapdragon 675 chipset in conjunction with 6 GB of RAM and 128-GB internal storage with expandable microSD cards up to 512 GB, a fingerprint scanner in the back, a face recognition function and Android 9 Pie with a proprietary One UI interface.
The model will initially be available in India at a price of 19,990 rupees (about 32 thousand rupees). Available colors are black and blue . The start of sales is scheduled for June 18th.
