Apple iPhone SE 3

More than a year in the making, the iPhone SE 3 has been the target of several leaks and rumors about its design and specifications. Some say it will have a fresh design and new hardware, while others say it will have a completely different look. A new leak, this time in the form of CAD renderings, has revealed the design.

Reports claim that tipster @xleaks7 has shared new CAD images of the impending iPhone SE 3 design.

Rear-facing SE 3 features a single camera with an LED flash, as seen in these fresh renders. The 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm dimensions are likewise unchanged from the previous edition. The device’s front has been redesigned, so there are no more visual similarities.

Due to the removal of the current-generation SE models’ big buttons on the forehead, chin, and touch ID, the front of the smartphone has a larger screen. In addition to a 5.69-inch screen, the device is expected to have a notch on the front for the Face ID sensor and a front-facing camera sensor.

The power button and sim tray are expected to be located on the right side spine, while the volume buttons and quiet mode switch are expected to be located on the left side. An iPhone XR-like appearance has been achieved with the revised design.

The A14 or A15 Bionic chipset is rumored to be inside the forthcoming iPhone SE 3 and it will have 5G network connectivity.

However, these fresh designs depict are in sharp contrast to prior leaks from trustworthy sources like Mark Gurman, a respected Apple analyst and Bloomberg correspondent, who previously indicated that the iPhone SE 3 design would be similar to the iPhone SE 2’s.

The current design renderings, therefore, should be taken with a grain of salt and further developments on the topic will be forthcoming.
