It’s not another pair of AirPods or a keyboard that Apple has added to its accessory lineup. HidrateSpark, a brand owned by Cupertino-based company, has just released a smart water bottle.
These “smart” water bottles promise to keep you hydrated by keeping track of how much you drink.
Bluetooth synchronisation with the Apple Health app is required in order to take advantage of the HidrateSpark’s smart features.
Currently, HidrateSpark smart water bottles can only be purchased in the United States. It’s possible that interested buyers in other regions will have to wait a little longer.

The HidrateSpark smart water bottle, which is available from Apple’s website and retail locations, can track your daily water consumption and sync it with Apple Health to provide you with personalised recommendations.
The LED sensors at the bottom of the device allow users to set a personalised hydration goal, and the device notifies the user’s Apple Health app when water is consumed.
The HidrateSpark app must be installed on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch in order to sync with Apple Health. In order to track personal information and other data, the app will ask for permission from Apple Health.

Black and silver are the only two colour options for the HidrateSpark Pro Steel Smart Water Bottle at this time. In addition to the stainless steel chug, the smart bottle has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that lasts for 10-14 days on a single charge, which takes about 2.5 hours to fully charge. It can be charged with a USB cable and is Bluetooth 4.0 and Bluetooth 5.0 compatible. 11.3 x 3.8 x 3.38 inch is the bottle’s dimensions. The HidrateSpark app requires iOS 12.3 or later on an iPhone and watchOS 4.3 or later on an Apple Watch.
With its Tritan Plastic Sea Glass body and colour options of green and black, the HidrateSpark Pro Smart Water Bottle follows. It requires an iPad or iPhone running iOS 12.3 or later, an Apple Watch running watchOS 4.3 or later, and a mobile data connection. The features and dimensions of this water bottle are similar to those of the HidrateSpark Pro Steel Smart Water Bottle.
The HidrateSpark Steel, which measures 10.7 x 3.2 x 3.2 inch, is another product in the line-up. The HidrateSpark Steel comes in silver or black and has the same features as the previous two bottles.
How much does a smart water bottle from Apple cost?
HidrateSpark 3, HidrateSpark Pro Steel, HidrateSpark Pro, and HidrateSpark Steel are all currently listed on Apple’s product listing page in the United States. It is currently listed at $79.95 for the HidrateSpark Pro Steel, while the Pro version is listed at $59.95. The other two options cost $69.95 each.
