Asus launches ultra slim laptop ROG Zephyrus S(GX531)

The Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the launch of the Zephyrus S (GX531), a 15.6-inch gaming notebook with an IPS display that features a refresh rate of 144 Hz and 100% sRGB color gamut.

The integrated RGB illumination on the chiclet keyboard allows players to customize the Zephyrus S according to their preference. Aura Sync coordinates color and effects with compatible peripherals, making it easy to customize the entire setup with a few clicks.

Third-party applications can take advantage of lighting through the Aura SDK, with ROG’s development team working to incorporate support into various games and applications.

In addition to the Intel Core i7-8750H processor, Zephyrus S also features an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (Max-Q) or RTX 2080 graphics card, up to 24GB of 2666MHz DDR4 memory, a 512GB NVMe storage solution, USB ports 3.1 Type-C, a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0, and supports the Wi-Fi 802.11ac Wave 2 connection.
