Google brings Android Games to Windows PCs with seamless support

Google Play Games in Windows PC

It has been possible to play Android games on PCs using emulators, but the most recent version of Windows is expected to have native Android apps. Now, Google has just launched some Android games for the Windows operating system.

In case you missed it, Google first stated in December 2021 that Android games will be coming to Windows OS. The Play Games app would be used to transfer these games to Windows 11’s Android app layer. This feature is finally being rolled out, according to an ArsTechnica report, but only in a very limited beta form.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Summoners War, State of Survival: The Joker Collaboration, and Three Kingdoms Tactics are among the “most popular mobile games in the world” that Google is “happy to reveal” would be accessible at launch. It’s also worth noting that these games use the Play Games cloud to save achievements and progress, which the user can then sync across all of their devices.

Regular apps are presently unavailable in the beta, although they can be downloaded from the Amazon App Store or by side loading. Even a beta sign-up and a developer portal have been launched by the corporation. In case you’re curious, these are your system’s basic requirements:

  • Windows 10 (v2004)
  • Solid state drive (SSD)
  • Gaming-class GPU
  • 8 logical cores of CPU
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 20 GB of available storage space
  • Windows admin account
  • Hardware virtualization must be turned on
  • Compatible PC device and configuration

There will be beta testings in Hong Kong and South Korea in addition to Taiwan for the official release, according to Google. Later this year, additional regions will be added.
