Hero MotoCorp has launched three new products in the Nepali market keeping in mind the demand for BS6 engine and market competition from other leading brands.
Motorcycle and scooter manufacturer Hero MotoCorp Limited has unveiled three new products in the Nepali market for the first time including Glamor X-Tec, Maestro Edge 125 and Xpulse 200 4V.
The newly launched bikes and scooters comes with BS6 compliant engine and are upgraded versions of previously available models.

The company claims that Hero MotoCorp’s BS-VI products provide a sophisticated experience to its customers due to the availability of features like access technology.
The Hero Glamour X-Tec commuter bike features a minor cosmetic update.
The front fascia now features an upgraded headlight with side-by-side LED daytime running lights. The front cowl receives a new plastic panel featuring a three-dimensional “Hero” emblem. Mild style has also been applied to the fuel tank extensions and side panels. The taillight is now shaped like a “H.” The overall aesthetic is significantly improved over the outgoing model.
The instrument cluster keeps its semi-digital arrangement, with an analogue speedometer supplemented by a digital display that displays the fuel level, odometer, trip meter, fuel economy, and service due indicator. Glamour’s switchgear appears antiquated in comparison to the current buttons offered by competitors.
The Hero Glamour’s five-speed 124.7cc BS6 engine produces 10.7bhp and 10.6Nm of max torque. The motorcycle features an Idle Stop-Start mechanism designed to maximize fuel efficiency.
The motorcycle is built on a diamond frame and features front telescopic forks and rear hydraulic shock absorbers. On both 18-inch alloy wheels, 130mm drum brakes provide braking power, but a 240mm disc brake is offered as an option. The safety net is comprised of CBS technology dubbed Integrated Braking System by Hero MotoCorp.
The Glamour is a direct competitor of the Honda SP 125 and Bajaj Pulsar 125. It is available in a variety of colors. This model receives a more upscale green dual-tone paint job, which helps it stand out in the category.
With the introduction of the XTec model, Hero MotoCorp enhanced the Glamour lineup. This new edition of the 125cc motorbike series incorporates enhancements to the standard model. Among them include an LED headlamp, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, a turn-by-turn navigation system, a side-stand engine cut-off function, and a USB charger.
Additionally, the new Glamour XTec is equipped with a bank angle sensor that shuts down the engine in the case of a fall. A new matte black paint job with silver highlights, 3D branding, and silver rim tapes round out the cosmetic changes.
Hero MotoCorp expanded its business in Nepal in 2010 by appointing Nepal General Marketing as the sole official distributor. The company provides services through a network of 72 dealers, 82 service centers and more than 100 spare parts sales outlets nationwide.
