Honda CB Hornet 160R Price in Nepal

Syakar Trading Company, the authorized distributor of Honda motorcycle, scooters and cars for Nepal, has unveiled an upgraded model of CB Hornet 160R in the Nepali market.

The Honda Hornet 160R is the Japanese two wheeler maker’s third attempt at luring in the young. It tried with the Dazzler and then with the Trigger, but both bikes were half-baked attempts. The Dazzler completely lacked appeal and the Trigger was just a Unicorn in fancier clothing.

According to the company, the new CB Hornet 160R adds a sporty outlook to the bike with its aggressive styling and new graphics with five color options – green on grey, orange on grey, blue, red and yellow.

The Honda Hornet 160R’s closest competitors are the Yamaha FZ-S and the Suzuki Gixxer. There’s also the Hero Xtreme Sports to consider.

The major updates on the motorcycle include its upgraded styling with full LED headlamp and hazard light switch, which is an important safety feature for emergency stops and for low visibility conditions, the company said in a statement.

Honda CB Hornet 160R Features

Honda’s CB Hornet 160R is a rival to the Yamaha FZ-S and the Suzuki Gixxer. The CB Unicorn 160 is the foundation for the CB Hornet 160R, the refined 160cc product from the Japanese manufacturer.

When compared to other motorcycles in its class, the CB Hornet 160R stands out as the most attractive. Honda is aiming for image-conscious consumers with its sturdy appearance, achieved by using substantial body panels, especially the gas tank.

The best angle to have a look at this bike is from the side, despite the fact that the fascia is still reminiscent of the CB Unicorn Dazzler.

The X-shaped tail lamp at the back of the CB Hornet 160R is another distinctive feature. As an added bonus, it has an LED headlight and a hazard light switch in the place of the engine killswitch.

The X-shaped tail light on the CB Hornet 160R adds a distinctive design element to the bike’s rear. In addition, it has an LED headlight and a hazard light switch in the place of the usual engine killswitch.

The 163cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine in the CB Hornet 160R generates 15.7 horsepower at 8500 rpm and 14.76 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm.

A 5-speed transmission is coupled to this power plant. Instead of the usual disc-drum combination, this bike has disc brakes on both the front and rear.

Single-channel ABS is now a possibility, however both ABS and CBS are not available combined. The front brake measures 276mm, making it larger than the brake on the CB Unicorn 160.

The size of the back disc is 220mm. The bike’s tires are the widest in their respective categories, measuring in at 100/80-17 up front and 140/80-17 out back.

The CBS model has a gasoline tank capacity of 12 liters, while the regular model’s capacity is 10 liters and its kerb weight is 142 kilograms.

There are five distinct models of this bike, each with somewhat different brake mechanisms. You can get regular brakes, ABS, or CBS.

The other two are graphical iterations referred to as “Special Editions,” which are mostly differentiated by their label.

The Special Edition Hornet does not include ABS as an available feature.

Orange/black, white/blue, red/grey, green/black, and yellow are some of the color combinations you can choose from.

When compared to rivals like the Yamaha FZ S and Suzuki Gixxer, the Hornet’s ex-showroom pricing of Rs. 349,900 is a steal.

Other features available in the bike include a better grip of tyres and durable seal chain which prolongs the chain life and benefits the customers with low maintenance cost.
