Huawei Launches Nova 10, Nova 10 Pro With Snapdragon 778 SoC and 60-MP Front Cameras

A new line of Huawei smartphones, the Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro, were introduced to the Chinese market on Monday.

Both smartphones have a similar design, although there are a few minor changes between them. OLED panels with up to 120Hz refresh rate, triple back cameras with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 SoCs, and 60-megapixel front cameras are found on both smartphones.

4G is supported by both phones. In terms of battery capacity, fast charging speed, front camera configuration, and display size, these phones differ.

Huawei Nova 10

The 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display on the dual-SIM Huawei Nova 10 runs HarmonyOS and can refresh at a rate of up to 120Hz. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 processor and an undetermined amount of RAM.

The triple back camera system on the smartphone features a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an f/1.9 aperture lens. 8-megapixel ultra wide angle and macro camera with f/2.2 aperture, and 2-megapixel depth of field sensor (f/2.4) are the other cameras on the phone.

The Huawei Nova 10 has a single 60-megapixel sensor and an f/2.4 aperture lens on the front of the device. On top of that, the phone has a slew of software-based camera features and optimizations.

Up to 256GB of storage space is available for the Huawei Nova 10. 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C connector, and NFC are all included in the connectivity options. Fast charging is supported by the phone’s 4,000mAh battery.

It has gyroscope, compass, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and fingerprint sensor. To put it another way, it’s 162.18in long, 72.9in wide, 6.88in tall.

Huawei Nova 10 Pro

The Huawei Nova 10 has a lot in common with the Nova 10 in terms of design and specs.

Full-HD+ (1,200×2,652) pixels OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate is one of the main differences.

The rear camera on all phones is identical, while the Pro variant has a dual front-facing camera.

In addition to the 60-megapixel main camera, there is an 8-megapixel depth camera in a pill-shaped cutout.

With a 4,500mAh battery and 100W rapid charging, the Pro model is the most powerful. Size and weight both come in at 191 grams.

The Huawei Nova 10 128GB model costs CNY 2,699, while the 256GB model costs CNY 2,999.

The Huawei Nova 10 Pro 128GB model costs CNY 3,699, while the 256GB model costs CNY 3,999.

Pre-orders for both phones are now being accepted in China, and sales will begin on July 8th. In addition to black, they’re also offered in green, silver, and violet.
