Xiaomi officially announced today several new products, including a line of TVs Xiaomi Mi TV 5X, which are available in three different sizes with screens diagonal of 43, 50 and 55 inches.

All three Mi TV 5X series TVs are equipped with 4K panels with a resolution of 3840 x 2160. TVs are Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certified. The 10-bit panel covers 94% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. These are premium TVs with a premium metal bezel-less design: the 43-inch version has an effective screen area of 95.4%, the 50-inch – 95.9%, and the 55-inch – 96.6%. TVs support adaptive brightness adjustment for lighting conditions.

Xiaomi Mi TV 5X is equipped with stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD. The larger 50-inch and 55-inch variants have 40W speakers, and the 43-inch version received 30-watt speakers. TVs also have long-range microphones that support Google Assistant.

Xiaomi Mi TV 5X supports HDMI 2.1 with eARC, as well as Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. There are three HDMI ports, two USB-A ports, an Ethernet port, an optical and AV input, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The TVs are equipped with a 64-bit platform with four Cortex-A55 cores and a Mali G52 MP2 GPU. They got 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash memory. Xiaomi claims that the input delay is 6.5ms at 4K and 60Hz resolution.

Like all Mi TVs, the Mi TV 5X runs PatchWall, Xiaomi’s user interface installed on top of Android TV 10. You also get a built-in Chromecast.
