Nokia XR20 rugged smartphone launched with IP68, 5G, 48 MP and 4630 mAh battery
HMD Global has officially unveiled the rugged Nokia XR20 smartphone. The brand new model is protected in accordance with the American military standard MIL-STD810H and can withstand drops from a height of 1.8 m.
Protection against dust and water is regulated by the IP68 degree – pre-maximum for consumer devices. An additional measure of screen protection is provided with hardened Gorilla Glass Victus.
The robustness of the case is combined in this model with a platform of a mid-level performance (even closer to the entry-level): Nokia XR20 is built on Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC.

The device comes in two memory options: 4/64 and 6/128 GB. A memory expansion slot for microSD cards is also provided.
Nokia XR20 has a 6.67-inch IPS screen with Full HD + resolution, an 8-megapixel front camera and a main camera with 48 and 13 megapixel sensors, stereo speakers, a side fingerprint scanner and an additional button that can be used to quickly launch any application .
The Nokia XR20 has a 4630 mAh battery. The smartphone supports 18W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The devices comes with Android 11 OS, but three major Android updates and four years of security updates have already been promised for this rugged device.
