On Thursday, the OnePlus Nord Buds were released in India. The OnePlus 10R 5G and Nord CE 2 Lite 5G smartphones were announced at the same time as the new audio offerings.
The newest addition to the company’s earbuds lineup features an ergonomic design and titanium drivers that measure 12.4mm.
Noise-cancelling technology is built into the OnePlus Nord earbuds (ANC). The earphones offer Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity and are IP55 rated for water and perspiration resistance.
OnePlus claims that its new TWS earbuds and charging case can deliver a total of 30 hours of listening.
Specifications of OnePlus Nord Buds
Nord Buds boast 102dB driver sensitivity and a frequency response range of 20Hz–20kHz in their 12.4mm titanium drivers, making for superior bass and sound quality than the stock OnePlus headphones. IP55-rated earphones boast a lightweight, ergonomic design that is both dust-and water-resistant.
A maximum operational distance of 10 metres is supported by the new OnePlus Nord Buds’ Bluetooth v5.2 connectivity. Select OnePlus devices with gaming pro mode activated can give a latency rate of up to 94 milliseconds with the earbuds. Four microphones are also included in the earbuds.
Both Android and iOS devices can be associated with them. As with the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2, the new earbuds utilise the company’s rapid pairing technology, which claims to link the earphones with an already paired OnePlus smartphone as the charging case is unlocked.
If you’re just using the OnePlus Nord Buds, OnePlus claims they can last for up to seven hours of music listening. The earbuds come with an oval-shaped charging case, which is claimed to provide up to 30 hours of gameplay when used in conjunction. OnePlus Nord Buds, on the other hand, promise to be able to play music for five hours on a single charge. Each earbud has a 41mAh battery, while the charging case has a 480mAh battery. The USB Type-C cable that comes with the case can be used to charge it.
In total, the OnePlus Nord Buds are 67.9x 35x 28.68mm, including the casing. The earphones and charging case together weigh 41.7 grams, or 4.8 grams per earbud.
