Oppo A12 set to launch with Helio P35 SoC and 4230 mAh battery

Couple of years ago Oppo smartphones were known for it’s best selfie camera but things have changed now as many smartphone makers have focused on this segment lately. It’s not only Oppo but entire brands created by BBK Electronics seems to have lost it’s identity with the domination of brands like Redmi from Xiaomi and Samung’s A-Series. The OnePlus line also have already shifted clearly to making expensive handsets now which once created the flagship killer smartphones.

So Oppo has two new smartphones set for launch in the coming days – the Oppo A12 and Oppo A12e. The A-Series from Oppo is also created to represent best quality devices at affordable pricing.

According to leaked data from Geekbench website Oppo A12 will feature a polycarbonate back cover with attractive design which looks similar to the geometric patterns as seen on Realme 1.

The device is expected to sport a Mediatek Helio P35 SoC along with 3/4 GB RAM and 32/64 GB of internal storage. Oppo A12 will feature a 6.22 inch HD+ display and the dimensions of the device are at  155.9 x 75.5 x 8.3 mm with a weight of 165 g.

The smartphone will come equipped with a dual camera setup on the rear with 13 MP main sensor and a 2 MP sensor along with LED flash while on the front for selfies it will come with a drop shaped notch to house the selfie camera which is of 5MP.

The handset will come with battery capacity of 4230 mAh battery and also comes with fingerprint reader located at the center of the rear panel.

The device has recently been certified by NBTC certifications in Thailand and IMDA in Singapore. There is no exact launch date mentioned but the device could be up for launch anytime soon.
