Oppo today presented its new smart watch – Oppo Watch 2. The smartwatch is presented in two versions – with 42 and 46 mm AMOLED screens. In the first case, the diagonal is 1.75 inches, and the resolution is 430 x 372 pixels. The second is 1.91 inches and 476 x 402 pixels. The frame rate in both cases is 60 Hz.
The rechargeable batteries in the watch are different: in the larger model – 510 mAh, in the more compact – 360 mAh. Accordingly, the battery life is also different: the larger model in standard mode works up to 4 days, the more compact – up to 2.5 days. The maximum standby time is 16 and 10 days, respectively.
The OPPO Watch 2 series has over 100 cool dials. AI Wearing Dial 2.0 adds new recognition of dots, stripes, zebra and other textures, which are combined into 135 static patterns and more than 20 dynamic patterns. The light-painting dial allows users to create their own creations, and nearly a hundred kinds of light-painting brush strokes can be selected with ease.
The Oppo Watch 2 is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100 platform and is powered by the Apollo 4s chip. The software platform is also combined – Android and RTOS. The amount of RAM is 1 GB, the amount of built-in flash memory is 8 GB.
OPPO Watch 2 series supports eSIM function, has built-in connectivity features which allows it to be used independently rather than from mobile phones. At the same time, the OPPO Watch 2 series is adapted to more than 50 popular applications, including WeChat (children’s watch version), Baidu Maps, NetEase Cloud Music, etc.
The watch supports over 100 training modes and 155 themes. There is also protection against water (5ATM), NFC and Bluetooth with car key function. The device supports constant monitoring of heart rate, blood oxygen level and stress, and there is also a sleep monitoring function. At the same time, with a dynamic blood glucose meter, continuous blood glucose monitoring can also be achieved.
