Pathao starts Gate-to-Gate service this monsoon season with added safety

A plastic shield has been made mandatory between the captain (driver) and the passenger in Pathao taxi service considering the time of havoc created by corona pandemic. Asimman Singh Basnyat, regional director of Pathao Nepal, informed that the plastic curtain has been made mandatory considering the health safety of the consumers.
Additionally, Pathao taxi drivers are also required to wear masks at all time and sanitize the interior at the end of every trips.
Basnyat says, ‘It is now much easier to book a taxi during this monsoon as Pathao has been providing “Gate to Gate” service. ”
He adds, “You don’t have to go to the chowk to look for a taxi and you don’t even have to bargain as the fare can be seen in the Pathao app.”
Pathao bike ride sharing service started in Nepal from September 2018. Pathao Nepal has started car lite (taxi) service from August 2019. In September 2020, Pathao started home delivery service of hotel and restaurant meals and food items.
Recently, Pathao Nepal has also started ‘Pathao Bazaar’ by delivering groceries. Home delivery within 45 minutes of ordering, which was started on June 12, is being tested.
