Poco X4 5G will be rebranded phone of another Redmi model, launch expected soon

Poco’s X4 smartphone line is set to go global in the near future. Several certification websites throughout the world have featured one of its models. The Poco X4 5G name has supposedly been validated by an alleged Malaysian certification website listing. According to the BIS certification website, a similar gadget has been found. For the time being, there is no official word from Poco about the X4 lineup.

Tipster Mukul Sharma discovered the Poco X4 5G on a Malaysian certification website. In accordance with the leak, the Poco X4 5G, a Xiaomi 2201116PG smartphone, would be released on the global market.

The model number 2201116PI of the same device has been found on the BIS website, indicating that it will be released in India soon. Tipster Abhishek Yadav also discovered the Xiaomi 2201116PG on the FCC’s certification site. NFC and MIUI 13 have been confirmed by the listing for the rumored Poco X4 5G.

It has previously been reported that the Poco X4 5G could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G edition that is currently available in China. When it comes to the Chinese version of Redmi Note 11, Poco has already released it globally as the Poco M4 Pro 5G. The Poco X4 5G is expected to follow the similar path.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro is about to go on sale all across the world, and its official unveiling is scheduled for January 26. The Poco X4 5G’s formal release could provide some insight into what users can expect from the device.

POCO X4 5G Specification

An S-AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display is expected to be found on the POCO X4 5G. The phone will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a triple camera system with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. MIUI 13 and Android 11 may already be pre-installed on the device.

The POCO X4 5G may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 processor. Depending on the model, the phone could come equipped with as much as 8GB of RAM and as much as 256GB of internal storage. It may have a 5,000mAh battery with a 67W fast charging capability, but we don’t know for sure. Other options include dual speakers, a fingerprint scanner on the side, and an expansion slot for a microSD card.

This year, POCO has yet to release a smartphone. First, the POCO X4 5G, which is expected to be released in multiple markets including India as early as this month.
