Redmi K50 Ultra Launched With Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC, 108 MP camera
Redmi K50 Ultra is now available to the public. The smartphone has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120 hertz. This Redmi phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU and LPPDR5 RAM. MIUI 13, built on Android 12, is the operating system of choice for this mobile device. The device has three cameras in the back. In addition to its impressive display, the Redmi K50 Ultra features a 5,000mAh battery that is compatible with 120W fast charging.
Redmi K50 Ultra Specifications
Redmi’s K50 Ultra has a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 12-bit color depth, 2,712 by 1,220 pixel resolution, 444 pixels per inch (PPI), 1,920 hertz pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming, and a maximum refresh rate of 120 hertz. Screen features include SGS-certified reduced blue light mode, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, DCI-P3 color gamut, and Adaptive HDR.
The Redmi K50 Ultra is powered by MIUI 13, which is based on Android 12, and is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC. LPPDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a VC liquid cooling system are also included in the smartphone.
The phone has a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro lens on the back. The Redmi K50 Ultra has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera, perfect for taking selfies.
In addition to being dust and water resistant to an IP53 standard, the Redmi K50 Ultra supports two SIM cards, WiFi 6, multi-band GNSS, Near Field Communication (NFC), and dual stereo speakers. The fingerprint scanner is embedded into the screen of the phone, which also has a central punch hole.
The smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 120W fast charging.
Redmi K50 Ultra Price in Nepal
Initially only launched in the Chinese market, the Redmi K50 Ultra is expected to arrive in Nepali market in the next few months.
There are four different Redmi K50 Ultra storage options available. The base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 56,800), while the higher-end model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 62,400).
Both the 12GB + 256GB and the 12GB + 512GB models can be purchased for CNY 3,599 (approximately Rs. 68,000)and CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 75,630) respectively.
The Champion Edition of the phone has 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and costs CNY 4,199 (about Rs. 79,500). This Redmi K50 Ultra special edition is styled like the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team.
Redmi offers the K50 Ultra in three different colors: black, blue, and silver. Smartphone pre-orders are already being accepted, with sales beginning on August 16 at 10 a.m.
