Redmi Note 8 Pro with 64 MP camera and Helio G90T SoC launched in Nepal
The long-running marketing campaign of the Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone finally ended with a loud announcement, at which the manufacturer shared all the details about its premium offering.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a screen of 6.53 inches with a resolution of FullHD +, which occupies 91.4% of the front panel area, and also has a TUV Rheinland certificate and protection from the blue light. The screen is covered with a protective 3D glass of increased strength, which proved to be excellent in numerous tests. The width of the lower and upper frames of the screen for Redmi Note 8 Pro is 4.2 and 2.05 mm, and the side frames have a width of 1.8 mm.
The back panel is also covered with 3D glass, which is curved on all four sides of the case. The fingerprint sensor is located at the bottom of the main camera unit on the rear panel.
The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G90T chipset, Redmi Note 8 Pro implements a system for optimizing the quality of games at the hardware level. Thanks to the use of a MediaTek Helio G90T system, the smartphone supports MiraVision technology, which automatically adjusts the brightness, contrast and clarity of the image. In addition, the smartphone also comes with a liquid cooling system.
The Redmi Note 8 Pro comes equipped with the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1sensor which captures 64-megapixel photos using the pixel binning technology.
The main camera has four image sensors, including the primary camera with resolution of 64 megapixels. The format of the image sensor is 1/1.7″. The maximum resolution of images is 9248 x 6936 pixels, while the size of photos can exceed 20 MB. Such an image can be divided into 25 parts with FullHD + resolution or almost 8 parts with 4K resolution.
The rest of the three camera sensors have a resolution of 8 megapixels, 2 megapixels and 2 megapixels. Redmi Note 8 Pro, unlike Redmi Note 8, is equipped with the fourth module, in which a time-of-flight camera is installed. The wide-angle camera has a viewing angle of 120°. Macros can be taken at a distance of 2 cm. The smartphone can record videos with a frequency of 960 fps. The front camera is equipped with a 20-megapixel image sensor for selfies.
The smartphone is equipped with a dual-band Wi-Fi module, an infrared port, as well as an NFC contactless payment module. It is also the first smartphone in the world with the TUV Rhineland network certificate, which guarantees a stable connection to the Network in the most difficult conditions.
The battery capacity is 4500 mAh, while the smartphone supports 18 W fast charging and has a liquid cooling system. A full charge takes 1 hour 53 minutes, and up to 50% of the smartphone charges in just 36 minutes.
Redmi Note 8 Pro will be available in three colors: Gamma Green, Halo White, and Shadow Black colour options.
In the same price range, the Redmi Note 8 Pro competes straight with Samsung Galaxy M32.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro is launched in Nepali market at a price tag of Rs. 26,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, while its 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option is priced at Rs. 29,999, and the top-of-the-line 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs. 32,999.
