Kumari Bank and Traffic Police launch QR Payment for fines

Kumari Bank Ltd has partnered with the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD), Ramshahpath, to launch a digital service for paying fines and penalties for traffic violations.

Traffic violators can now pay traffic fines by scanning a QR code.

SSP Umesh Raj Joshi and the bank’s Digital Section Chief Anil Tamrakar jointly inaugurated the service, “QR Scan Pay Fine and Withheld Document,” on Thursday at an inaugural celebration held at the MTPD Office in Ramshahpath.

Speaking at the event, SSP Joshi said that this digital system’s debut will aid in implementing the government’s action plan for digitizing administration connected to domestic affairs successfully.
