Vivo Y55 5G Launched with MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, 50MP camera and 5000 mAh battery
With the introduction of the Y55 5G, Vivo has expanded its Y-series lineup in Taiwan. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W support are shared with the recently introduced Vivo Y55s.
A 50-megapixel primary camera is the star of the triple back camera array, which also includes a dynamic photo mode, night scene mode, AR cute shooting, and file correction. It also sports a front-facing 8-megapixel camera.

Powered by Funtouch OS 12, the dual-SIM Vivo Y55 5G offers a 6.58-inch LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC powers the phone, which has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (up to 1TB expansion via microSD card support).
The Extended Memory 2.0 feature can allocate up to 1GB of storage to be used as RAM for the smooth operating of the smartphone. There’s also Multi-Turbo 5.0, which is designed to enhance the phone’s performance even further.
The 50-megapixel primary camera on the Vivo Y55 5G has an f/1.8 aperture lens, making it the star of the triple rear camera configuration. Macro and ultra-wide angle cameras both have 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 apertures. An f/1.8 lens and an 8-megapixel sensor are housed in a waterdrop notch on the front of the phone.
The Vivo Y55 5G has 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, USB OTG, NFC, and Bluetooth v5.1 connectivity options. Side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer and gyroscope are among the onboard sensors. Other sensors include e-compass, GPS,Beidou/GLONASS/Galileo/QZSS/NavIC.
It has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 18W. It weights 187 grams and has a dimensions of 164×75.84×8.25mm.

Vivo Y55 5G Price in Nepal
According to the Vivo Taiwan website, the Vivo Y55 5G costs TWD 7,990 (approximately NPR 34,585) and comes in Galaxy Blue and Star Black. As of right present, there is no word about its availability in other countries including Nepal.
