Dolby Vision, 120Hz refresh rate, and max brightness of 1,100 nits are also included. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM found within the Xiaomi 12 make it a powerhouse smartphone in its own right.
The Xiaomi 12 features a triple rear camera array with a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX766 sensor and an f/1.88 lens with optical image stabilization (OIS). It also features a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.4 ultra-wide lens with a field of view of 123 degrees in the camera arrangement. The front-facing camera sensor on the Xiaomi 12 is a 32-megapixel one. Stagger HDR and artificial intelligence (AI) based beautifying capabilities are supported.
With up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage, the Xiaomi 12 has a lot to offer. Among the many connectivity possibilities are 5G and 4G LTE, as well as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/A-GPS, NFC, and IR. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
The Xiaomi 12X is a reworked model of the Xiaomi 12. With a 6.28-inch display, it is identical to the Xiaomi 12’s display. The 4,500mAh battery and triple rear camera system are also carried over.
As for differences, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and up to 8 GB of RAM power the Xiaomi 12X. The phone can store up to 256GB of data onboard.
Apart from that, the rest of the spec sheet is identical to that of the Xiaomi 12. The design and form factor of the 12X are identical. There are three color options available: black, purple, and blue. Similarly, its rear panel is made of glass, with no option for PU leather.
You get a 6.28 inch curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a color depth of 12 bits. In addition to HDR10+, the Xiaomi 12X, like the other two phones in the lineup, supports Dolby Vision.
The triple camera setup at the back includes a 50MP IMX766 sensor with OIS, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP telemacro lens. Inside the punch-hole in the front is a 32MP selfie camera.
