This Tuesday Xiaomi and Huami added one more element to their line of wearables. The Amazfit Ares is the new smartwatch that arrives with a sporting purpose and an attractive price of $70 (in the Chinese market).

The new wearable device is intended for fans of an active lifestyle. With Amazfit Ares, you can track 70 sports modes, including jogging, cycling, swimming, climbing, intense indoor training and much more.

Furthermore, it is also possible to monitor dance exercises, such as belly dance, zumba. In addition, the device has modes for tracking classes of various types of martial arts, including boxing, wrestling, Muay Thai, etc.

Amazfit Ares is equipped with a 1.28-inch square color display, which is protected from scratches by the durable Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The screen adapts to ambient light by adjusting the brightness with a sensor for better visibility.

The body of the wearable device is made of strong and durable poly-carbonate materials that can withstand harsh conditions. The straps for it are made of silicone for comfortable wearing.

The smart watch has a water resistance of 5 ATM, which means that it can be immersed to a depth of 50 meters for 10 minutes. The battery life of the device in daily use is up to 14 days. In the basic mode with Bluetooth turned off, heart rate monitoring and GPS, the battery life of the device increases to 90 days.
