Samsung Galaxy Tab A Price in Nepal

Samsung Electronics has launched the latest Galaxy Tab A in Nepal 3 months after its global release.

The electronics giant from South Korea claims that the Tab A is an entertainment powerhouse and has equipped it with a 8-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 70.5 percent screen to body ratio. Viewing multimedia content on the Tab A under sunlight is possible thanks to its bright 480 nit display.

Also present on the new Tab A is Samsung’s Bixby Home, which users can access by swiping to the right of the home screen. It aggregates various information such as weather, fitness activity and buttons for controlling their smart home gadgets.

According to Samsung, Bixby can predict what costumers might be looking for, allowing them to get the most out of their device.

“At Samsung, we always listen to consumer’s feedback and recognise the need for creating devices and services that fit diverse needs. Galaxy Tab A 2017 is the perfect blend of great display, powerful performance and multimedia experience.

Tab A will help us consolidate our market leadership in the country,” said Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, head of mobile business at Samsung Nepal, “The tab is targeted at consumers seeking a holistic and quality entertainment experience,” he added.

Powering the Tab A is the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 clocked at 1.4 GHz. It has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage using a microSD card, up to 256 GB. The Galaxy Tab A comes with Android 7.1. Nougat out of the box.

The Tab A features a 8MP, f1.9 shooter and LED flash on the rear while the front of the tablet sports a 5MP camera with f2.2 aperature, reads the press release. The camera also supports HDR mode which provides a natural balance between the shadows and highlights by combining multiple photos into one.

Backing up the Tab A is a powerful 5000 mAh battery which the company claims can last up to 14 hours when consuming media content.

The new tablet also comes loaded with Kids Mode, a digital playground that is safe and provides fun-learning experience for children, reads the press release.

Samsung claims that the service allows kids to experience their favourite characters, games and content in a controlled environment where parents can identify specific subject areas for their child to focus on and control the amount of time while using the app.

This device is also equipped with Samsung features such as—Blue Light Filter that reduces blue light emission and helps in a disruption free sleep, Smart View that enables users to wirelessly connect their Tab to televisions, Samsung Flow that automatically tethers Tab A to other Galaxy devices and seamlessly switch between them and Game Launcher which is a control centre for games, states the release.

The Galaxy Tab A  2017 is available across all retail stores in black colour. It is priced at Rs.26,600.
