Snapdragon-8CX

Qualcomm has officialized a new platform for computers, manufacturing in the process of 7 nanometers: the Snapdragon 8cx. The announcement was made during the third day of the Snapdragon Summit , held in Hawaii.

The hardware is a pioneer in this lithography for PCs and promises to bring new features to thinner and lighter machines. Among them is the always-on, always-connected category , designed to serve notebooks that stay connected , as if they were cell phones, with long battery life. This allows faster access from where the user is.

The interface allows you to double the memory from 64 bit to 128 bit. In addition, its other components include eight Kyro 495 processor cores, Adreno 680 GPUs, Qualcomm Aqstic audio technologies and Quick Charge 4+ quick-charge technologies. To complete, there is the Snapdragon X24 LTE modem, in order to prepare the way to 5G.

In connectivity, the component has support for the second generation of USB 3.1 Type-C, third generation of PCI-E for unlimited peripherals and two monitors with 4K HDR resolution.
