Using the U12 Life design language, HTC has long announced a new smartphone called Desire 12s.
The device made of plastic with a glossy and matte finish (the design at the back of the camera, at least as it stands, reminds us of something from the LG G5) incorporates the Snapdragon 435 SoC in combination with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage or with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space (in both cases it is expandable).
The screen has a diagonal of 5.7 inches and HD + resolution (1440 x 720 pixels, 18: 9). The front camera is based on a 13 Megapixels sensor with lens system f: /2.2 while the main camera has a similar resolution sensor but with a f: /2.0 lens system and comes with LED flashlights. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The battery of the new HTC Desire 12s has a capacity of 3075mAh but does not support fast charging. The software is based on Android 8.1 and the HTC Sense UI.
The device is already available in Taiwan in Black, Silver and Red, with prices of $ 195 for the 3GB RAM (32GB storage) version and $ 225 for the 4GB RAM (64GB storage) version. For the time being there is no information on whether to be released and when in other markets.
