Nokia 2.3 budget smartphone to launch with Mediatek chipset
HMD Global, according to network sources, is preparing to release a new entry-level smartphone – the Nokia 2.3, which will replace the Nokia 2.2 model (shown in the images).
The device appears under the code designation TA-1206. The device has already “lit up” on the website of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as well as in the database of the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG).
It is known that the upcoming smartphone will come equipped with a Mediatek processor. According to rumors, a Helio A22 chip is expected, which combines four ARM Cortex-A53 processing cores with a clock frequency of up to 2.0 GHz and an IMG PowerVR graphics accelerator.3
It is noted that the device will receive support for Bluetooth 5.0 wireless. In addition, a Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n adapter is mentioned.
Model TA-1206 will provide users with the ability to install two SIM cards. A similar variant with a model number TA-1214 is also expected to come with support for single SIM card.
The screen size of the Nokia 2.3 is rumoured to be about 6.0-6.1 inches diagonally. Customers will be able to choose between several color options, including dark gray and green. The announcement of Nokia 2.3 may take place in the month of November.
