Vivo’s gaming sub-brand iQOO has leaked a photo that lists the key features of the flagship smartphone iQOO 3. Even before the launch, it is already dubbed as one of the fastest smartphone in early 2020.

In addition, the manufacturer has published official images and a video featuring iQOO 3, which demonstrate the device from all sides.

The smartphone will be built on the Snapdragon 865 platform with an X50 modem, and is equipped with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory. This will make it one of the first phones to ship with the faster internal storage, while the industry has only begun the shift from UFS 2.1.

iQOO 3 will receive a battery with a capacity of 4440 mAh with support for fast charging with a capacity of 55 W, as well as a Polar View Display screen made using Super AMOLED technology.

As for design, we have a back panel that is very similar to Vivo’s current offerings, with all the cameras placed in a rectangular island in the corner. The slide confirms that the iQoo 3 will sport quad-cameras on the back.

On the front, we will get a “Polar View” display which will incorporate an E3 Super AMOLED panel with what seems like a really small punch-hole for the selfie camera. The refresh rate of the display is still unknown, but we know that the polling frequency of the sensor layer will be 180 Hz.

The smartphone is equipped with a quadruple main camera with a 48 MP main image sensor and Hi-Res Audio support. Colour options will include Volcano Orange, Tornado Black and Quantum Silver.

For iQOO 3, a special User Interface is created called iQOO Monster UI. The presentation of this device is expected on February 25 this year in the Indian market.
