Redmi K50 Pro to launch in February with MIUI, new leaks reveal design and more
Recently, the Redmi K50 series has appeared on several certification sites like Geekbench, the 3C, and TENAA. Third-party back covers have also begun to appear online, and Xiaomi has confirmed a February debut date and a few features.
A 4,700 mAh battery and Snapdragon 8 first-generation processor have already been announced for Xiaomi’s Redmi K50 series. Xiaomi has hinted that the series will be released in February, although the exact date has not yet been announced. The corporation has so far released two teasers, which are shown here.
Geekbench has listed a Redmi K50 series handset in a number of listings. The postings also claim that the gadget has 12 GB of RAM and is running Android 12.0, most likely with MIUI 13 user interface on top.
Model number 21121210C surfaced at both the 3C and TENAA in China, both of which are certification authority. A 120 W charger appears to be included in the Redmi K50 series as it is with the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus and the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge in India.
Additionally, on Weibo, third-party cases for the Redmi K50 series have appeared, accentuating the device’s three rear-facing cameras and a broad LED flash array.
The Redmi K50 series is rumored to have JBL speakers like the Redmi Note 11 series. The Redmi K50 Pro’s global version, the POCO F4, could potentially employ similar design.
There will be four variants in the Redmi K50 series: Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+. The MediaTek Dimensity 7000, Dimensity 9000, or Dimensity 8000 SoC was previously thought to be included in the Redmi K50’s vanilla variant.
Geekbench, on the other hand, believes that the Snapdragon 870 SoC will be the star of the show. It is likely that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Mobile Platform will be more useful for the higher-end version of the phone.
An AMOLED screen with 120Hz or 144Hz refresh rates will be used for the device’s display. The Redmi K50 is reportedly expected to include a 64-megapixel Sony primary camera sensor, a 4,700mAh battery, and 120W fast charging capability.
