The Xiaomi Mi A3 has been launched in Nepali market. Xiaomi continues its partnership with Google by bringing in new smartphones from Android One.
The Mi A3 is a successor of the Mi A2 device launched last year, it comes now with several upgrades over the original device.
Compared to Mi A2 we have a smaller but thicker and heavier smartphone. The device now comes with Gorilla Glass 5 both on the screen and rear panel for added protection.
The A3 has thinner notches and edges than its predecessor, and the fingerprint reader has been eliminated from the back and upgraded with in-display one.
Mi A3 specifications
The Mi A3 sports a 6.08-inch HD+ (720×1560 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a waterdrop notch at the top. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage.
In the camera department, the Mi A3 packs a 48-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, accompanied by an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with a 118-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 32-megapixel front camera to handle selfies and video calls.
Connectivity options on the Mi A3 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone comes equipped with a 4,030mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. It features the standard set of sensors on board, and also sports an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Since the Mi A3 is a part of the Android One programme, it runs stock Android instead of MIUI.
