HMD Global announced in Mobile World Congress 2019 press conference several new smartphones to be launched this year – including the Nokia 4.2 model.
It was expected that the device will go on sale in April of this year, but Nokia 4.2 has become available for pre-order in the US only recently, where sales are scheduled to start on May 14.
The sale will be available through online store only in the initial phase. It will be available from retail outlets like Bestbuy stores only after June 9.
This is for those who will issue a smartphone in the online store. In the free retail sale in the store BestBuy smartphone will only appear on June 9.
The Nokia 4.2 comes with a screen of 5.71 inches with a resolution of 1520×720 Pixels powered by a Snapdragon 439 chipset . The device will sport 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM along with 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage .
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia 4.2 on the rear packs a 13-megapixel primary camera and a second 2-megapixel camera. It sports a 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
Nokia 4.2 delivers a pure Android experience with Android One, running on Android 9 Pie. No clutter, no third-party software, and free monthly security updates that amazingly don’t slow down your phone.
The device is powered by a 3000 mAh battery.
The price in the USA starts at $ 189.
