Realme XT 730G With Snapdragon 730G SoC, 64 MP Quad-Camera Setup Unveiled

Currently in the Indian market the Oppo spin-off brand Realme has locked horns with Xiaomi’s subsidiary brand Redmi in the fight against to rule and reign the budget and mid-range smartphone market.

Realme recently launched their first 64 MP camera smartphone in the mid-range segment with the launch of Realme XT. The device is powered by Snapdragon 712 and comes with four cameras in the rear panel with the main sensor featuring the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1  64 megapixel sensor .

During the last few weeks, there was talk of a more powerful model, which would arrive equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. At the end of the Realme XT launch event, CEO Madhav Seth confirmed that this new smartphone(Realme XT 730G) dedicated to video game lovers will be presented in December.

Over the past few years, Xiaomi has managed to solidify its popularity and presence in the most varied international markets. However, nothing prevents the surprising Realme from trying it’s luck, especially considering the great evolution it has presented in it’s smartphones lineup over a period of just 14 months since its inception.

While the newly presented Realme XT seems to have no side-by-side hypothesis with the Xiaomi Mi 9T, since it is equipped with the most modest Snapdragon 712, the story may be different with the new model Realme XT  730G. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor presents a much more evolved performance, and arrives with several improvements in the section of “performance gaming”.

CEO Madhav Seth also recently announced that the Realme XT 730G will be ready for launch in December in the Indian market. The device could bear the moniker Realme XT Pro when launched.

As the name suggests, Realme XT 730G is a variant of the just launched Realme XT smartphone and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC.

Realme XT 730G will sport Hyperbola 3D glass design, same as the Realme XT and come with a Super AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will be paired with a 4,000mAh battery. The battery will support 30W VOOC flash charge, 10W higher than the Realme XT.

Further, Realme has noted that the XT 730G will carry a 64-megapixel quad rear camera setup. Although the company has not detailed the other three cameras, they are likely to be same as the Realme XT.

Realme XT 730G’s other specifications haven’t been officially announced, however the smartphone was possibly sighted on Chinese regulator TENAA recently with the model number RMX1991.

The TENAA listing noted that the Realme RMX1991 will feature a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, Android 9 Pie, and a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display. The listing also mentions Purple and Blue as the colour options. Additionally, it has listed the same rear camera setup as the Realme XT with 64 MP + 8 MP+ 2 MP+ 2 MP.

As mentioned, Realme will detail the pricing, specifications, and availability information of the Realme XT 730G in December. For now, that’s all we know about the Realme XT 730G.
