Huawei sales in the global market has been suffering from quite some time but in home country it is still the market leader and takes up almost half of the market share with a 46% share.
Today in China the Chinese giant presented Huawei Maimang 9, which outside of China will be sold as Huawei Enjoy 20. However, it is possible that the global version may be branded differently.
This is one of the new products of the company, where instead of opting for the proprietary Kirin chipset the company switched to Mediatek. In this case, the device is equipped with Mediatek’s Dimensity 800 chipset which also supports 5th gen networks.
The Huawei Enjoy 20 features a large 6.8-inch IPS LCD screen with FullHD + display, and features a curved glass on the two sides. Although Huawei confirms that the screen occupies 90.3% of the front panel, the edges of this display are still quite considerable. This display also has a hole to accommodate the 16 MP selfie camera.
Unlike its predecessor, the new Huawei Maimang 9 5G abandons the proprietary Kirin chipset to use the new MediaTek Dimensity 800 . The processor works in conjunction with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. If necessary, it is also possible to expand the memory with MicroSD card.
In the camera department, the device comes with triple camera setup with main sensor of 64 Mp (f / 1.89) along with 8 Mp (wide-angle, f / 2.2) and 2 Mp (depth sensor, f / 2.4). The device offers 4K video recording, night mode, electronic stabilization and professional mode.
The smartphone has a 4300 mAh battery with 22.5-watt fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 16-megapixel front camera. The manufacturer claims 84 hours of music playback and 17 hours of video, as well as 8 hours of games.
The smartphone runs on Android 10 with the EMUI 10.1 interface on top, and as usual lacks Google services.
The device is offered in three color options – Magic Night Black, Qijing Forest and Sakura Snow Clear Sky.

The Huawei Enjoy 20 is initially just been launched in the Chinese market. It could be sold in other global markets like Nepal in the coming months and could be re-branded and sold under a different model name. In the Chinese market Enjoy 20 price is set as follows:
